Riyatta Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees and run by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers. The foundation is internationally recognized, and in April 2019 was granted Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of Africa and Canada.  Riyatta has a partnership agreement with the Canadian & USA Commission Humanitarian Aid . It is also a member of the Quebec National Development Forum, and strengthening relationships necessary for the fulfillment of asocial purpose, underscored by Sustainability.
